Missä Phrases – Menossa Tukossa Pystyssä Jäässä

The topic of this article is missä phrases, aka phrases that consist of the verb olla and a word in the inessive case (-ssa). The original list comes from the excellent book Suomen kieli kuntoon 2, which I strongly recommend if you’re looking to expand your vocabulary with phrases.
Marked in green are the most basic of the missä phrases, so the ones to get started with if you’re looking into learning some of this vocabulary.
