The partitive for these two wordtypes forms an interesting difference. The –Us-Ukse- nouns are the easiest, as they follow the general partitive rule for words that end in a consonant: you add –ta/-tä to the end of the word. In contrast, –Us-Ude -nouns will have a partitive where the final –s of the word is turned into an extra –t-.
